About The Program

Youth Theatre Circle (YTC) is a platform for young people aged 14-19yrs to access drama-training and performance opportunities with Delhi's foremost theatre company and assessment by Trinity College London. YTC members meet every Saturday for 24 weeks and stage 2 public performances of a classical play in English. We reflect the intensity of professional drama training, so we require a firm commitment from applicants to attend the weekly sessions.

In the 3 terms, every member will be taken through various elements of drama training such as:-

Text Work: How to analyse and work with spoken classical text. Understanding how classical text helps in articulating modern speech.

Voice Work: How to project, articulate and speak with clarity, using breath to support voice.

Movement: Understanding Laban movement techniques and losing physical inhibitions.

Improvisation: Developing perspective and imagination.
