MASTER DOPE
SERIES WORKSHOPS

All practicing theatrewalas! Gifted actors or backstage magic-creators! Here’s your opportunity to learn or further hone your skills working under the true masters of the stagecraft.

A stage artist does not operate in isolation. Dramatic Arts’ innate inter-disciplinary nature demands actors and technicians to be ultra-proficient with all aspects of the stagecraft, so that they are able to delve into the unknown with the power of total knowledge to challenge the limits. Therefore, a comprehensive understanding of the medium of theatre becomes critical in achieving ‘precision in performance’.

It started in August 2013, and is organized once a month. Actor Factor’s Master Dope Series offers vital training in different aspects of the stagecraft through meticulously-planned, super-specialized workshops.

So, whether it’s an actor and his work with ‘Text’, ‘Voice and Speech’, or ‘Body in Space’; or it’s about ‘Make-up’ artistry or ‘Prop’ and ‘Masque-making’; sessions on ‘Scenic Design’ or ‘Play-writing’; ‘Puppetry’ or ‘Mime’; studying ‘Dramatic Forms and Styles’, the use of ‘Multimedia’ or even sharing of unique ‘Methodologies’ which the true masters of the stagecraft have painstakingly evolved over their long years of creative work, the Master Dope Series includes all this and more.
